Global Procurement - Service & Spare Parts Service & Spare Parts Sourcing is a newly established department designed to support the Vestas Global Service Business and its End Customers. Our strategic objective is to build a competitive advantage for Vestas in growing Service arena and making it even more powerful in the coming years. Given the dynamics of the after-market and our dedicated wish to claim leadership in that market you will join a fast paced environment with a strong growth potential. The Service & Spare Parts Sourcing Department is a vital player when it comes to making this happen. We are therefore in the process of building a strong global team focused on spare parts and repairs. The goal of this team is to deliver world class sourcing and category management strategy driving cost, quality and on time delivery. As a part of this team we are now looking for a dynamic and ambitious Purchaser, who has the skills, passion, energy and drive to contribute to this vision. Responsibilities You will be a part of Spares Sourcing Team and your main tasks will be: Identify new suppliers, technologies and solutions in order to fulfil targets and KPIs. Ensure that your suppliers in international and local market are supporting Vestas objectives cost, delivery, quality and safety. Lead commercial and Purchase Agreement negotiations with suppliers. Make sure that the spare parts are available within short lead times, at the most competitive price with quality and fulfilling safety standards. Support the category strategy for spare parts. Qualifications You probably have a relevant educational background, combined with +3 years' experience from a similar sourcing role or commercial experience from i.e. a sales function. Preferably, you have knowledge within spare parts, oil and chemical products or hydraulic, and gear systems Competencies You have excellent negotiations skills, and a great passion for negotiations and purchasing You are detail-oriented, flexible, with the ability to prioritize You are analytical with an attitude to learn and improve your knowledge about the industry (pricing, trends, competitors, value drivers, etc.) You possess excellent communication skills in English You have the ability to travel and be punctual with pre-set meeting times You are a good team player What we offer We offer you an exciting and challenging job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development within the leading company in wind energy.
