Recovery Scientist, Recovery Development, Copenhagen We are looking for a highly skilled, passionate and enthusiastic scientist for our Recovery Development Department. We are responsible for enzyme recovery process development suitable for large-scale industrial biotech production within Novozymes. You will work on downstream process development (recovery), including process scale-up and tech transfer to the relevant production sites all over the world. The products handled by the department include a large variety of industrial enzymes, e.g. for Household Care, Biofuel, Food and Feed applications as well as yeast for the biofuel industry. The department includes 40 skilled employees equally divided between scientists and technicians working both in lab-scale and pilot-scale in Novozymes’ largest recovery pilot facility located in Bagsvaerd, Copenhagen. In this position you need to have: A MSc degree in chemical engineering, biochemical engineering or similar, preferentially combined with a PhD Experience within recovery of biological molecules, separation technology, and downstream unit operations or related area Experience with process engineering for yeast recovery Strong team skills and the ability to thrive in an informal and dynamic international environment with a multitude of tasks, where you will work in cross-functional project groups with scientists from Fermentation and Formulation development as well with colleagues in Optimization and Production Focus on the result, initiative and personal drive potentially combined with leadership ambitions and talent Excellent skills in English (written and spoken).
