Would you like to have influence on and responsibility for the future IT Infrastructure Strategy in a global company? Then you could be our new Senior IT Strategist within Global IT. Global IT, Infrastructure, Strategy, Planning & Design. Global IT is the business area responsible for all IT within Vestas Wind Systems A/S, and with reference to the Group CFO, Global IT covers everything from business engagement and requirements gathering to project implementations, sourcing and end user support. Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities will be to: Develop and maintain IT Infrastructure strategies, policies and standards that are aligned and adapted to Business Domains IT Architecture, strategies, policies and standards Identify possibilities to optimize existing IT Infrastructure solutions and components in close cooperation with the technical architects Conduct consultancy activities within field of expertise Be advisory for the rest of Global IT and Vestas Business on relevant Infrastructure topics Help in the coordination of demands with Infrastructure impact with Business Engagement, Services and Solutions Qualifications: Qualifications and work experience: Relevant IT education on Master level 10+ years of work experience with IT Infrastructure on a strategic, tactical and operational level in an Enterprise setup. Competencies: We expect you to: Have a strong understanding of the set of IT Services provided by a global enterprise company and the IT infrastructure technologies that supports and enables them Have experience with outsourcing of IT Services and acting in a fully or partially sourced IT environment Have the ability to proactively align and coordinate activities in a complex organizational and infrastructure environment Have a strong financial understanding especially in developing of business cases Be comfortable with acting in a dynamic environment undergoing rapid changes Be accustomed to efficiently working across Business Units and international borders Be a naturally strong communicator and networker with the ability to translate business strategies and demands into the appropriate IT architecture and roadmap Have the ability to work independently as well as in teams and show readiness to take on the task available Have the ability to prioritize and keep deadlines, and be structured, analytical and process-orientated Be accustomed to negotiation and know how to “sell” your ideas always acting professionally around customers, business partners/vendors, employees and none the less the management Be a robust type that enjoys challenges and achieve results in a positive “fighter” spirit Be comfortable in a role that combines theory and practice What we offer: We offer an exciting and challenging job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at the world’s leading wind turbine producer.
