Senior Manager for LEGO® Continuous Improvements (LCI)

Join the LEGO® Team to grow your insight across different business units and significantly contribute to the future development and performance of our business. Be a change agent and make an impact As part of the LCI Process and Projects Team, you will play an active part in building LCI capabilities and driving simplicity initiatives across the LEGO Product Development area. The goal is to improve productivity and performance in our value chain. This means that you will collaborate with different business areas and support them in driving their Continuous Improvement roadmap. In doing so, you: - Train and coach Managers in LCI in the Product Development area - Manage hands-on deployment and implementation of activities with top and senior management - Contribute to a culture with a strong focus on customer expectations, high flexibility and continuous improvement, acting as a role model in close collaboration with the rest of the team - Support the business area with your solid background with Continuous Improvements, assisting them in mapping GAPs and planning process improvements - Develop our overall LCI organisation, covering close to 100 consultants throughout the company, and thereby strengthening our LCI approach, methodologies, tool box and training materials Collaborate with specialists and share your knowledge We believe in everyday creativity. Coaching skills and experience with Continuous Improvement A challenge in this position is to increase the understanding of our Continuous Improvement initiatives across the organisation, encouraging colleagues and managers to use the tools available and to ultimately anchor LCI as a natural aspect of how we work. To succeed, you have: - A degree within Product Development and Innovation or another relevant field within Business Development - 3+ years of experience with Continuous Improvement or LEAN related to the Innovation and Product Development area of a large organisation or as an external consultant - 1-2 years of experience coaching and sparring with specialist level and upper management - as a minimum, you are comfortable coaching people at higher levels - A proven track record in performance improvements in large and complex development processes, possibility combined with LEAN/Agile or other relevant CI certifications - Great communication skills, and you speak and write English effortlessly Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
