Are you enthusiastic about new technologies and consumer electronics? Fascinated by the LEGO® Products? And would you like to find the next technology that takes the LEGO® Brand into the future by integrating digital and physical play experiences? Deliver the technologies that bridge the digital and physical In the LEGO Group we have a growing focus on One Reality products - products that bridge digital and physical play. As Technology Scout, it is your responsibility to identify emerging technologies that cater to this need, and work with the internal producers on maturing the technologies for future products. To do this, you employ your global, broad network, as you travel 30+ days a year, and you: Follow digital trends in and outside the LEGO Group to create an overview of maturity and availability of technologies that can support One Reality experiences Understand technology demand by working alongside product and concept developers Establish a technology overview as a communication platform for the digital product designers Identify and build a network of external vendors who can develop the relevant technologies Understand and acknowledge the need for a "platform and re-usability of technologies" thinking Define the future of digital play You will collaborate with external as well as internal first movers, as you make the technologies you uncover available to the LEGO Group. Through scouting for technologies, you make it possible for us to prioritise and navigate in the technology arena, sharing your ideas and insights in renowned, global network. Doing this, you make a significant contribution to the future of play, while you get close to our markets and the future of the LEGO Brick. Tech-savvy with a broad, global network When you have discovered the need for new technologies, your main challenge is to locate relevant vendors, who are capable of developing and operating these technologies. To be ready for this job you: Have an eye for emerging technologies, resulting in an urge to transfer technologies into relevant business and play contexts Have previously worked with technology companies, gaining a broad network within the industry and a proven ability to identify both technologies and relevant technology vendors Hold an academic degree within media, communication, marketing or IT, and it is a definite plus if you have worked in an international company focusing on consumer products for children Speak and write English effortlessly Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you can use your creativity and enjoy a fun working environment across the LEGO Community.
