Do you want to make a difference in how we support our wind assets in operation? Join us and become Senior Mechanical Fleet Engineer in our Maintenance Support team which provides Technical Support to all of the Group's wind assets in operation. Together with six dedicated colleagues, we are responsible for identifying the top downtime drivers, developing and implementing intermediate corrective actions as well as ensuring technical support, documentation and processes. Maintenance Support is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to support all operational offshore sites on mechanical matters be responsible for technical support to all our sites in operations and across all WTG platforms (together with other key personnel) lead on initiation of intermediate corrective actions on the main mechanical downtime drivers ensure high quality and effective handling of technical queries and actions in close cooperation with sites and across asset integrity management support our colleagues in our sister departments when relevant. Furthermore, you will be single point of contact on mechanical issues from sites into back office. You will support operational sites on all mechanical challenges and problems and secure knowledge sharing across sites. You will act as technical onsite support, if required, and support implementation of improvement projects. You ensure that lessons learned relating to asset integrity are captured and embedded in future design, execution and maintenance practices, and you will support the continuous improvement tracks both on sites in and out of warranty. Your qualifications and core competences include that you have a strong background in working and supporting offshore windfarms, preferably experience with the Siemens or Vestas turbine fleet, WTG experience is critical. have a bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent combined with multiple years’ work experience in a similar position, in mechanical engineering or a related discipline have an analytical and practical approach to problem solving have relevant work experience, preferably within technical support have experience with customer support, technical product development, technical installations and WTG service is an advantage. You are used to working with the Microsoft Office suite and, preferably, you are familiar with web-based monitoring systems, filing systems and electronic document management systems. You are structured and process-oriented, able to lead change by engaging others and have strong communication skills that enable you to present and communicate the results of your work in an efficient manner. You must speak and write English fluently.
