We are offering a challenging position as a Project/Product Manager within Pharmaceutical Compliance & Support (PCS). It is an opportunity for an experienced Pharmaceutical Project Manager with a technical background to join a growing pharmaceutical company. PCS is a department within Pharmaceutical Product Development and is responsible for CMC Life-Cycle Management activities for marketed products. The responsibility includes improvement and trouble shooting of processes and analytical methods, CMC-support for submission into new and existing markets. Currently the department has nine employees that include project managers and scientists. RESPONSIBILITIES The position is covering a wide range of aspects: Manufacturing, Formulation and Analytical development, CMC-Regulatory and -Project management including cost, resource and timeline responsibility. You will directly support and improve the production at manufacturing sites and provide technical services to in-house regulatory and quality functions, support due diligence as required and provide product expert input to Marketing Authorisation and Manufacturing compliance efforts. The essential responsibilities include but are not limited: •Design and establish studies to support marketed products •Science and risk based approaches to development and filing •Scale up/down of manufacturing unit operations •Project Management of global pharmaceutical projects •Root cause analysis and CAPA initiatives Success in this role requires working across a matrix within an international climate. QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate is a M.Sc. in mechanical or chemical engineering, pharmacy or equivalent qualification and has a strong background in chemical or process engineering with practical experience in common analytical methods. Experience with GMP or other regulated environments and regulatory authorities/submissions are essential. Proven scientific skills in formulation development and process scale-up, primary within sterile and freeze-drying formulations are an asset. The candidate has the ability to work on multiple tasks in a quality-minded and structured way. You are expected to work independently or within a group, often as the leader. You are an inspiring team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Finally the ideal candidate enjoys working in a multicultural environment.
