- Research & Development - Denmark - Måløv Are you a Veterinarian (DVM) or similar with experience in histology and evaluation of pathological (macroscopic/microscopic) changes in non-clinical safety studies then come and join our department. We are a highly motivated team striving to provide high quality safety data to support our research and development portfolio. The temporary employment in Pathology, Måløv, is for the period 1 April 2016 – 31 March 2017. About the department We are 19 people (pathologist and technician) specialized in pathology evaluation and different molecular pathological techniques for supporting the safety evaluation of possible toxicity in organs and cells. We work individually, in project teams and in close collaboration with other Pathologist. We are located in Måløv in the Copenhagen area as part of Global Research. The job Your main job tasks will be to ensure an appropriate description and interpretation of pathological changes in laboratory animals in toxicology and other safety studies run internally or at Contract Research Organisations and evaluate these findings in relation to human safety. This includes reporting and discussion of the interpretation of the findings and presentation of pathology data for stakeholders, such as project groups and safety committees. You will work in project teams together with other scientists. Additionally you may be involved in quantitative histology e.g. image analysis, and stereology. Qualifications You are preferably veterinarian or have an equivalent medical and scientific background. You are trained in toxicologic pathology and safety evaluation of pathological findings in non-clinical studies and have a qualitative mind-set as you will be working in a GLP approved environment. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken and have good communication skills. You are a good team player, and you are good at establishing contact and collaboration within Novo Nordisk as well as with external partners.
