Application Specialist in the pharmacovigilance team with focus on the Argus and ARISg applications. As an application specialist in the pharmacovigilance team, you will become an expert in our client’s Argus and ARISg systems by maintaining and managing applications that meet the strict and required processes present in the Pharmaceutical industry. As a department, we deliver solutions to companies who expect a high level of quality and security and to whom any error is potentially fatal. Your responsibilities as an Application Specialist in the pharmacovigilance team You will be working with maintaining and configuring critical systems in which documentation, testing and validation are very important due to the high demands from the pharmaceutical industry. As an Application Specialist in the pharmacovigilance team, you must be able to take on many different roles: •You will contribute actively to the further build-up, documentation and operation of the systems and services. •You will follow up on deliveries from our off-shore team and in general support daily deliveries to our client’s. •You will participate in client meetings, where your job will be to understand the client’s needs and offer a stable solution that lives up to the client’s expectations. •You will provide recommendations about upgrades, new technical solutions and new functionalities. •You will deliver in-depth analysis of complex issues related to the technical aspects and the architecture of our client’s systems. •You will also be involved in projects beyond technical support work, so it's important that you are able to create an overview of situations and prioritize well. The pharmacovigilance team The team is part of the Life Science Application Outsourcing area, responsible for maintenance and further development of our client’s critical systems. We have long-term agreements with our clients which gives us the opportunity to develop their systems and architectures over a longer period of time based on a deep understanding of their specific business needs. You will be part of a large integrated team with 15 top professional colleagues, specialized in Argus and ARISg Applications, situated in Denmark and China. The department is part of the Solutions division responsible for advising our client’s on business and technology as well as designing and implementing IT solutions and applications. Your qualifications and experience You have a solid experience with complex IT solutions. You are a technical specialist by nature - always curious and enquiring – which has provided you with a deep insight that you share with your clients and colleagues. With your sharp analytical skills and ability to understand large technical systems supporting complex business processes, you are able to understand and explain complicated issues to technicians, project managers and client representatives. You are keen to be a specialist in applications that have to live up to very high standards for documentation and quality. You are used to working with structured processes and may have knowledge of ITIL, which is the best practice model that NNIT´s support model is based on. Experience with Argus or ARISg software is not a requirement either from a technical or super user perspective, but it is considered a must that you are willing to learn and take ownership of tasks, takes initiative and use it to identify problems and solve them.
