Application date Sunday, March 15, 2015 - 23:59 Location Lyngby, Denmark Global Raw Material Procurement is part of the Catalyst Production Supply Chain Management organization which has the operational responsibility for all steps related to our catalyst order to delivery process for Haldor Topsoe in Denmark and global responsibility for the core supply chain processes and standards. Global Raw Material Procurement is responsible for ensuring that we have the right supplier base and that they live up to the requirements. The department consists of 6 people covering sourcing of raw materials to Haldor Topsoe. Currently, the department is in a transition phase working on becoming a more globalized and strategic partner to the rest of Haldor Topsoe. Hence, there is an opportunity for the right candidate to make an impact. The job involves close collaboration with colleagues in other areas of the organization i.e. R&D, Quality and Production, as well as extensive contact with existing and potential new suppliers of raw materials. The daily work will be very diverse both in relation to task and stakeholder interaction. Your responsibilities •Develop tools and procedures for the department •Facilitate introduction of new raw materials •Update quality documents •Provide quality support on raw materials •Drive or assist with Supplier Development Process •Work with vendors on quality and technical specifications •Execute troubleshooting on raw material issues. Qualifications The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or similar. You have a background working either with specifying raw materials or quality assurance of raw materials with a proven track record. Experience with ISO, TS-16949 or similar quality standards would be an advantage. You are fluent in English and have good communication skills both in writing and verbally.
