We are looking for a Senior S&OP Specialist / Project Manager to join Vestas Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Senior S&OP Specialist / Project Manager Global Service S&OP is a part of the Global SIOP under Supply Chain Operations. The Global Service S&OP is a newly established department that is responsible for establishing and running the S&OP process. The Service business in Vestas is a key strategic focus area, which is developing rapidly to meet customer requirements. This heightens further the demand for agile and accurate forecasting – where we achieve a balance between demand and supply with optimum inventory levels. We are looking for an energetic, well structured, independent and theoretical well founded Specialist to join the S&OP team. Working in the S&OP department entails a high degree of data processing and analysis. The diverse nature of activities demands ability to multi-task and prioritize, with a focus on quality of results. We are a department full of energy, always going the extra mile for each other, so being a team player is the key. Striving for continuous improvements by challenging the current state, optimizing processes and utilizing the existing capabilities is a constant topic on S&OP’s agenda. You will work closely with the Planning, Inventory Management and Project & Performance department in SIOP, ensuring we always have updated forecast/demand in our system, thereby ensuring capacity and supply is balanced to achieve the best possible results for our Customers. Responsibilities: Act as overall project manager for Strategy Deployment 2016 - Service Demand forecasting (spares, main components) Develop the S&OP processes and supporting IT tools (SAP IBP) enabling the S&OP Process Run the S&OP process Consolidation and analysis of forecast provided by the Sales Business Units (SBU). Review and challenge forecasts together with the Sales Portfolio team Create S&OP scenarios for the SBU’s and executive management including business and cost impact. Act as key participant in the S&OP process Gather input from Product Management in order to phase products in/out of forecast Training and support of the organization regarding processes, methods, tools and systems Develop, create, and improve key performance indicators to align with business objectives Expert at business processes with understanding of full product lifecycle Develop tools for workflow and reporting structures to align with abstract business concepts Experience with MS SQL, SAP BW, or reporting systems is an advantage Qualifications: Significant experience in running S&OP process Significant project management experience (certified PM Prince ) Detailed understanding of critical path of information flow and data analysis Experience in SAP PM,CS, ERP, APO and SAP CRM Solid experience in creating demand forecast based on historical data and sales input Work experience with process & systems development and implementation in an international organization (preferably within Supply Chain Management) Super user of Microsoft Office programs, including VBA University degree at Masters level Competencies: Excellent communication skills in English Flexible regarding work hours (international environment) A good team player Proactive and self-driven Pragmatic and structured Capabilities to visualize complex solutions Problem solving oriented but at the same time firm in sticking to the plan and the concept What we offer: We offer a challenging environment with the possibilities to drive the setup of the future service supply chain.
