The Australian Restaurant REEF N´ BEEF is looking for a qualified Sous Chef with A la Carte Menu and Catering Experience.

The kitchen is Australian and we work with imported products as Bush food, Wagyu beef, Kangaroo, Emu, Crocodile.

Over the years REEF N´ BEEF has become one of Copenhagen´s popular fusion restaurants  due the exotic dishes of game meats  and traditional Australian dishes.

Staff in the kitchen and floor is international,  which means  that service  and internal communication are in  English. It´s therefore expected that you have a good understanding of English,  Danish is a plus.

Being part of REEF N´BEEF means you love teamwork,  are a passionate in what you do with care and quality in mind, good skills to make things happen,  you love learning new things and you will enjoy helping us to provide the best services  for our restaurant´s costumers.

Main tasks will be:  manage and taking part of preparation in the kitchen and during service,  taking part in designing new menu,  taking part in preplanning menu for coming events and groups menu.   We do also Catering and Room-Service in the hotels nearby.

The ideal candidate as a Sous Chef/Cook is able to work in busy enviroment, able to take initiative and have a passion for cooking.

We expect you to have:

  • 3 Years experience from a similar position is preferred
  • Good and polite communication between kitchen team, waiters, restauration manager, and management as keywords for giving our visitors the best experience possible.
  • Good team worker in the kitchen and make the team to be on top of the service all the time.
  • A flair for cost control and quality control of the products purchased.
