Would you like to contribute to the development of the next generation software for handling calculations of risks on derivatives? We are currently looking for a IT Developer. The position we offer The team we are hiring for consists of four team members, who will be working closely with 3 colleagues on the business side of the organisation. The team is part of a larger group, which maintains a system for derivatives trading. The team’s assignment is to develop the next generation software for handling calculations of risks on derivatives. Within this context, we work towards modernising our technology stack. Furthermore, we are focused on building the new system in a testable manner and that the tests must be automated. The existing system is written in a mix of C++, C#, java and more. Thus, knowledge of these languages will be an advantage. The team works as an agile team and so, it would be an advantage if you have experience with one or more of the agile methods. The qualifications you need You will have to take leadership in guaranteeing the quality of jobs developed in Python, including establishing good practices and procedures to ensure that quality all the way to deployments in large environments. We expect that you: • Have experience with designing and developing larger applications in Python. •Know – and can handle - the pitfalls of a larger dynamically typed code base. •Are comfortable with generators, coroutines and maybe also asyncio.
