Systematic’s Healthcare Business Unit is looking for a Software Architect with a great drive, enthusiasm for the customers and experience with design and development of large and critical IT systems. As a Software Architect, you will get the opportunity of being at the front of and make your mark on the development of our activities and products within healthcare IT. Your main focus will be to design and further develop our products for the hospital sector, Columna, in close collaboration with customers and end-users. As a Software Architect, it will be your responsibility to understand their visions, ideas and needs and ensure that the development of Columna creates value for the end-users while making sure that every decision we make with the customer creates value and fulfils our mission of “simplifying critical decision making” at the same time. The job You will be responsible for running the overall decisions for the architecture in collaboration with the customer and the other architects working on the Columna products. You will have a central role in the work done with transforming the customer’s wishes and needs for software solutions and tasks that the development team can understand and implement. Likewise, you have the responsibility of supporting sales and business development in a way that ensures clarity about what creates customer value, including participation in writing tenders. Your skills and personality You have a theoretical background as a computer scientist, engineer or similar with extensive professional experience. Furthermore, you have more than five years of experience from a similar position, and you have experience with complex systems. You also have an interest in and experience with: Larger distributed IT system landscapes within healthcare IT Enterprise architecture, middleware and frameworks, such as Java Enterprise Mobile solutions Product development of mission critical systems Agile development methods, such as Scrum and architecture work in relation to these You work analytically and in a structured manner, and you are capable of supporting sales and business development in a solution context. You are characterised by having a focus on opportunities and business, and you have experience with thoroughly acquainting yourself with the customer’s business and understand which aspects hold customer value. You are capable of adapting your communication of complex messages and problems to the recipient’s competencies and needs.
