Do you have experience with indirect tax in a multinational environment? And would you like to take on an exciting international senior manager position where you monitor tax legislation and make sure the global organisation complies with the rules? Work with indirect tax across LEGO® Markets As Indirect Tax Senior Manager, you will join an indirect tax team of 4 and become part of a tax department of 25 tax professionals spread over 9 locations around the world. Your mission will be to support the organisation in terms of business enabling and stewardship. As part of this, you carry out our tax strategy within the area of indirect taxes. This includes green taxes and customs and you will be working with several countries, tax systems and international stakeholders and advisors. Your specific tasks include: Monitoring developments within indirect tax legislation in all countries where the LEGO® Group has activities. You assess the implications of changes, translate them into specific actions and assist with the implementation Working with Tax Risk Management by identifying, mitigating and eliminating indirect tax risks. As such, you implement controls reinforcing indirect tax and customs compliance Supporting the Finance Organisation and other internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with indirect tax laws and regulations Supporting business projects by ensuring all indirect tax requirements are considered and implemented Assisting with audits in all LEGO Countries as well as mapping our total indirect tax contribution (supporting our Corporate Social Responsibility) Mutual value creation We aim to deliver top quality service and advice to all our sites, and in this role, you will be a valued sparring partner both at the LEGO Headquarter and across the global organisation. The role can be based in Kladno, Czech Republic in London, UK or in Billund, Denmark and you should expect to travel for approximately 20-25 percent of the time. As such, you will work with several international stakeholders and get to play a key role in implementing our global strategy within indirect taxes. This is an independent position where your drive and commitment will directly affect your achievements. Indirect tax expert with excellent stakeholder management skills You could have a relevant university degree but practical experience from a multinational environment is just as useful You have at least 7 years of experience working with indirect taxes and you have basic knowledge of customs processes and procedures You have thorough knowledge of the EU VAT Directive and Council Regulations As a person, you are open-minded with very strong communication and social skills.
