For our Rotor Engineering department - within the Technology and Service Solutions department – we are looking for a candidate with theoretical and practical background in structural design in composites. The Rotor Engineering department does structural development and engineering of blades from the mindset perspective: Accountability of blades from cradle to grave. The department holds highly qualified engineers with primarily composite structural engineering expertise, but also with deep knowledge of composite materials and their process abilities. Responsibilities To strengthen the team we are looking for an engineer to assist us in some or all the elements in blade structural design: Structural concepts and idea generation Design of blades being structurally efficient yet still manufacture able Analytical and FE-A based calculations, considering both extreme and fatigue strength Documentation and certification work Test specifications and validation reports Qualifications Solid theoretical knowledge in structural engineering of complex and highly loaded composite structures, minimum at M.Sc. level Several years of experience with practical processing aspects of fiber composites Strong cooperative and accountability mindset.
