Siemens Wind Power’s service business is growing and we are intensifying our offshore activities. We are therefore searching for a project manager to support us in the planning and execution of the Jack-up operations. As a project manager you will play a key role ensuring safe, reliable and efficient execution of service jack-up operations globally in order to meet the full expectations from our customers. This shall be achieved through sound understanding of our customers’ needs, close cooperation with our regional partners, lean and consistent processes, effective project management and highly skilled technicians What are my responsibilities? As a project manager in Jack-Up Operations you will be responsible for project planning and execution in connection to the Jack Up operations (end-to-end). This includes Supporting the planning of Jack-up operations end-to-end – including preparation, kick-off workshops, mobilization of vessel, operation execution, de-mobilization and lessons learned workshops upon completion Supporting the regional organization in relation to customer service/relations Coordination of documentation, parts, tools, logistics, vessel, technicians etc. together with relevant parties Reporting to stakeholders (daily, weekly, monthly) based on the information provided by the site manager onboard. Monitor KPIs and act as the Non-Conformance Responsible Dedicated support and troubleshooter for the team onboard the Jack-Up (acting as the offshore team’s extended arm onshore) What do I need to qualify for this job? You have 3 years of experience as an operational project manager, preferably from the offshore industry. You are self-driven and a strong motivator which makes you a reliable and trust-worthy character. You take ownership and provide stakeholders with peace of mind. You are stable as a rock while still able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Furthermore, you are a team-player who fits well in a young and dynamic team You are service-minded and showing a “can-do” attitude. You have a very structured and analytical approach and always see something through / ensure end-to-end deliveries You are an effective communicator with excellent English skills orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
