Student Helper, Innovation Development, Bagsværd Novozymes’ Innovation Development Team is part of the Business Innovation department. Our responsibility is to discover bio-innovation opportunities and best innovation practices for Novozymes and our customers. We are looking for an exceptionally talented and highly team oriented student assistant to join our team. You do not only excel in your understanding of modern biotechnology but you also have the potential to connect the dots between biotechnology and value creation. Your primary tasks will be to support our opportunity scouting and insight capturing activities. You will assist with web content searches & analysis to identify and validate new bio-innovation opportunities outside Novozymes’ core businesses. You will be tasked with insight capturing as well as knowledge processing/sharing activities. The average time commitment is approx. 20 hours a week, workload may vary, and we expect that you will be flexible. In this position you need to: Be a student of bio-sciences in your last year as an undergraduate student or the first year of your graduate studies Have a broad background in microbiology (a must) as well as molecular biology, industrial biotechnology, bioengineering and synthetic biology Have an edge in web-mining, including social media searches, to identify & explore innovation opportunities Assist in data and insight capture activities and file opportunities in our digital platforms Maintain and improve our opportunity collections and team-sites. This requires familiarity with Sharepoint 2010 and 2013 technology – a skill which we can teach you Have the talent to spot and further investigate the value creation potential of innovative biotechnologies in cooperation with experienced business developers Have a global view on biotech and a keen interest to understand the connectivity and dynamics which drive biotech hotspots around the world Are you the next Zymer in our team?
