Siemens Wind Power Offshore is continuously working on improving our standards creating even safer and more optimized work processes. Following that, we are looking for an experienced heavy lifting professional with great leadership and management skills to globally lead our team of heavy lift experts. What are my responsibilities? • Direct lifting management at our preassembly and installation sites • You will have the functional management of the lifting teams in Denmark, the UK and Germany as well as the line management of 2 - 4 employees in Denmark • Planning of project specific lifting operations together with Lifting Specialists / Appointed Persons • Reviewing and improving project related documentation regarding lifting operations • Participating in lifting equipment design, documentation and implementation • Participating in safety related work and improvements regarding lifting operations • Continuously improving our standards and working procedures What do I need to qualify for this job? • Experience in relation to complex heavy lift operations • Knowledge of cranes mainly offshore vessel cranes and crawler cranes • Experience with lifting guidelines and cross national legislation • Strong safety culture and understanding • Good project understanding and management skills including leadership and motivation of teams • Team player with excellent communication skills The position will be based in Vejle, Denmark but will require some travelling to Siemens Wind Power's projects and offices in the UK and Germany.
