As next to one of our Asset Managers you will be working next to the top management of Maersk Drilling and as such be in the very heart of the business. The position provides you with a broad network of internal and external contacts, and you will have the opportunity to travel up to 75 days a year. Key Responsibilities You will be the key liaison between the rigs and the onshore office. You will provide technical support for our rigs maintenance activities and ensure that our units are maintained in accordance to our high standards and statutory requirements. This support includes analytical analysis of our SAP maintenance data and evaluating technical improvement opportunities including drilling, marine, power, hydraulic and electrical systems. You will develop the SAP 3PM planned maintenance system and ensure alignment in maintenance standards among all units. You will prepare 5 yearly maintenance budgets with the Rig Management and provide guidance on operating and major overhaul costs and you will undertake projects as specified by the Asset Manager. The position is an individual contributor position, but in some occasions the new Technical Superintendent will be appointed team leader of an ad-hoc team. This positions will involve up to 20% travel at times - sometimes on a short notice. Who we are looking for A candidate with a technical degree and solid offshore experience. We expect you to be well-versed in the offshore industry and have a good notion of life on a drilling rig. You have backed your experience with a university degree in engineering or have similar technical ballast. You have well-developed analytical skills and like taking initiative in order to ensure constant improvement of our rigs and technical equipment and procedures. Strong Project Management skills are essential. As you will be operating in a truly international environment, you must be proficient in English. Moreover, you are a good communicator with proven relation-building skills, matchless coordination skills and you thrive in a job where you may encounter changing priorities and counter orders.
