New Product Development (NPD) Stage-Gate Owner in Project Excellence Bringing new products to the market is key to Novozymes’ growth ambitions, and we are in the process of implementing a strengthened stage-gate model to further boost our capability to execute projects. To drive the implementation and further continuous improvements of the stage-gate model, we are looking for a new Stage-Gate Owner in the Project Excellence team. As Stage-Gate Process Owner you will execute the Project Excellence ownership of the NPD project stage-gate model, and be the ambassador and champion by setting the NPD stage-gate model into context of the project ways of working for our stakeholders. Stakeholders are among others: project leaders, project team members, line managers allocating team members to projects, and the project decision makers. You will identify where needed improvements should be made to stage-gate model, underlying processes, tools and systems, and facilitate execution of these improvements to support better ways of working in the projects. You will also ensure stage-gate compliance and organizational discipline according to our NPD standards. The Project Excellence team is a newly formed team responsible for driving change and increasing maturity level for ways of working with projects from idea to sales across the NZ organization. The position is established in Bagsværd, Denmark, but since we support the Novozymes organization globally some travel activity will be needed. The position reports to Head of Project Excellence. In this position you need to have: -A proven track record of successfully designing, implementing and improving project stage-gate models – preferably within new product development -A relevant Master’s degree or PhD within Science or Business Administration -5+ years of experience within project management and project leadership -An IMPA, PMI or like project management certification (a plus but not mandatory) -The ability to lead, influence, and motivate stakeholders at all levels to drive change -Customer focus and preferably you have insights into development of products and sales of bio-tech based products -The team player attitude and enjoy good fun -Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Are you the next Zymer in our team?
