Application date Friday, October 23, 2015 - 23:59 Location Lyngby, Denmark This position sits in our Head Office in Lyngby reporting directly to the Head of Financial Planning in Corporate Finance where you will be exposed to senior management and all business units. We operate out of 4 business units: Chemical, Refinery, Environmental and New Business. Your responsibilities •Conduct competitor analysis for executive management •Prepare industry and market analysis for each of the 4 business units •Assist on M&A projects hereunder valuation, target assessment and other ad hoc tasks. This is an opportunity to be part of a developing area within the company and unique exposure to the top management of a large international Danish corporation. The position will also provide you with valuable experience in understanding industry dynamics, company strategy and relative performance analysis of competitors in an industry. You We are looking for a student in the last year of their bachelor's or first year of master's degree with an interest in finance, business strategy and performance drivers. You must understand and have experience in reading financial statements and can prepare and analyze financial ratios including EBIT margin, ROIC etc. You must be proficient in excel and be available for immediate start. You will be part of a smaller team, therefore it is important that you have an ability to work independently and work in a dynamic environment. We expect that you have a flexible time schedule to meet deliveries in peak periods; average workload is around 15 hours a week. Qualification Preferably you are studying in the area of business strategy or economics. We expect that you have a strong academic background in relevant fields i.e. IB, IBP, FSM or similar. Further, we expect that you can show a strong track record of good results from previous jobs or other activities.
