We are searching for a Technical Writer for our Manufacturing Engineering team in Service Technology who will be creating work instructions describing how to maintain our wind turbines globally. The Manufacturing Engineering team has the overall responsibility for the internal communication and documentation that is used by our Service Technicians on-site. The team comprises a mixture of administrative personnel and Service Technicians. What are my responsibilities? Create and update existing work instructions used by Service Technicians globally. Ensure EHS and technical reviews of your own work instructions, and subsequent release in Teamcenter DMS. Participate in trial fits and component exchanges on-site in Denmark and abroad in order to document the working process (approximately 30 travel days per year). Responsible for planning the work process by creating method statements and risk assessments prior to visiting the turbine. Ensure commitment to an increased focus on EHS issues in cooperation with the global EHS organization. What do I need to qualify for this job? Experience in writing and managing technical documentation is a key requirement. It is important that you are used to working closely with field technicians and using their knowledge and experience on-site as the primary input when creating work instructions. Experience with Teamcenter DMS and CMS is advantageous. You understand the importance of adhering to safe working practices whilst producing high quality and precise work instructions. You are an outgoing and proactive person with the ability to structure own work assignments, multitask and do frequent follow-ups. Furthermore, you are able to collaborate with people on all organizational levels. You are fluent in English both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
