Use your technical education and expertise to develop and implement new tools throughout MHI Vestas
Do you have a degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering combined with 1-2 years of experience from the wind industry or similar industries working with heavy equipment and tools? Are you looking for a position where you on the one hand design and develop new tools and solutions and on the other hand get your hands dirty with oil?
Then you might be the next colleague to join our Tools Design and Improvement Team in MHI Vestas. You will join a team of 4 skilled and experienced employees, and you will get the chance to grow in the position and learn about this niche from your colleagues.
Tasks & responsibilities: You will…
…be involved in the development and implementation of new and existing tools and equipment throughout the Construction and Service departments and be the point of contact for ECR proposers and stakeholders. You will support on new and existing tools to Product Creation and ensure that tools documentation is available and always fulfils legislative requirements.
Together with the rest of the team you will also be responsible for:
- Execute/case handle ECRs from approval to implementation
- Evaluate feasibility of optimisation ideas and identify most promising options from a business perspective
- Deliver ECR/project scope specifications of optimisation options for outsourcing and ensure technical support
- Enable efficient interfaces among Product Creation, Product Development, Technical Support and Technology R&D
- On requests, make documentation available for Sourcing and Purchasing colleagues
Skills & experience: Our new colleague…
…has a degree in Technology Management or Marine Engineering combined with 1-2 years of work experience from the wind industry or a similar industry working with lifting equipment and tools. Ideally you have been involved in the design and development phase of tools and lifting equipment.
To succeed in this position, you should have a continuous improvement mindset, be customer-focused and have good communication skills. We also expect that you are structured, detail-oriented and able to prioritise your tasks.
