Then you may be the candidate we are looking for in our Cost Management team within Vestas Technology & Service Solutions Technology & Service Solutions, Industrialization, Configuration & Cost Management Vestas Technology & Service Solutions is where new product ideas or technologies are matured, developed, tested and improved. To put it short, Vestas Technology & Service Solutions (TSS) is the cornerstone of Vestas. We are shaping the future of modern energy. . The Cost Management department is part of the Industrialization area of TSS. The department is responsible for ensuring all new products & technologies achieve their value chain cost targets. With a successful track record, the team of 4 is looking to expand to take on more responsibility to ensure all new technologies can achieve the required market demands. The purpose is to establish early cost baselines for new projects and products in order to have cost target and budget to follow up against in the development Phase. The Value Chain Costing approach determines the Total Cost of Vestas Value Chain, Total Cost per Product Platform and BOM Costs. Responsibilities: To provide the official product cost input to the Vestas sales price Target cost break down from WTG level to system/module level Cost tracking, reporting and analyzing total value chain cost, platform cost, should cost and BoM cost, securing that design teams are designing to full value chain cost target Prepare cost bridges reflecting component, module, WTG and value chain cost in full and ensuring alignment with all stakeholders. This also includes risk assessment of target cost fulfilment and initiation of mitigation planning across divisions Process, facilitate and reporting cost sessions with relevant stakeholders Identify cost out potentials in connection with standardization and modularization (pareto analyses etc.) Process cost calculations of defined value chains (OPEX, CAPEX, WC etc.) Benchmark with best-in-class on Lean Accounting and establish Lean Accounting principles for total Value Chain at Vestas. Qualifications: The successful candidate can be a senior profile or a candidate with a couple of years' experience from similar position. To be successful in this role we also expect that you have: Master's degree and/or MBA (preferred Engineering or Finance background) Fluent in English - both verbal and written Super user of the Microsoft package, SAP, BI reports and project tools. Competencies: Proactive and self-driven. Must have the drive to see the tasks, challenges, issues and problems arising in the near future and deal with these accordingly without instruction from other parties Must be diplomatic to handle conflicting interests between design parameters such as product cost, investment costs, resources and project deadlines. Must be assertive in situations where product cost estimates do not meet product cost targets, which could jeopardize the viability of the project and product. Keen interest in the financial impact of product design as well the technicalities of the design to enable understanding between the financial area and the engineering area Well versed in financial terms and estimation Must be detail oriented and perfectionistic in product cost consolidation Must have a deep understanding of Value chain and the cost drivers within Capable of sharing and creating knowledge about Value Chain Cost Costing experience within a modularization and standardization project is preferred.
