Location FLSmidth A/S Organization Name Global Minerals Management Professional Area Management Department Description Brief Description FLSmidth is currently seeking a Vice President - EMENA Region to join its Minerals Division. The incumbent will assure the successful sales and delivery of products and systems/solutions to customers within the EMENA (Europe, Middle East, North Africa) region. This position will be located in Europe. Detailed Description Assume overall P/L responsibility for the Region Develops a business strategy with a clear competitive advantage that secures profitable bottom line results Optimize product/systems portfolio to deliver maximum customer value Stay informed on key industry trends Selects high performing leaders with strong capabilities and monitors their performance in order to build and secure an effective organization Assesses and improves the performance of direct reports through Performance and Development Reviews and designs individual development programs in order to secure direct reports are able and capable to perform and agreed objectives are met Anchors the corporate culture and values within the business Ensures adherence to FLSmidth’s safety policy and follows up on compliance within own area of responsibility Job Requirements Minimum BS/BA (masters preferred) with at least +10 years of experience of P&L responsibility Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach a senior-level staff to manage and develop high-performance teams and develop and implement program strategies Experience in an equipment or projects supplier organization and minerals/mining industry is a plus Deep experience in program budgeting and fiscal management, overall profit and loss responsibility Track record of effectively leading a direct service/solution organization with a complex array of programs with the ability to leverage strengths across program areas; understanding complex product systems / projects and the sales process for such systems and the execution Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals Ability to point to specific examples of having led organizational transformation projects and program development, experience to achieve results in a matrix-type organization Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation Strong written and verbal communication skills Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management Positive attitude and self-directed Additional Details How To Apply FLSmidth is an international engineering company with an annual turnover of app. EUR 2.8 bn.
