Location: Brande Mode of employment: full time For our Diagnostic R&D department at our Service head office in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a Web, Windows and Database Developer. Diagnostic R&D develops software tools that enable the Siemens service department to provide service at a higher quality, faster and cheaper. The software tools support different aspects of service areas ranging from handling cases of turbine stops to communication with customers through our customer portal. What are my responsibilities? As a Web and Windows Developer, you will participate in developing software tools, where the main purpose is to optimize the time and quality of turbine servicing, ensuring that energy costs are minimized. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover: · Developing new Web and Windows applications and SQL databases to support the service business · Maintaining and enhancing current applications and databases · Participating in technology forums and considering the recommendations within solution proposals · Resolving issues during the test and preparation phase until the product is active, and subsequently during maintenance · Reviewing implemented technical solutions, documenting lessons learned and recommending appropriate improvements What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have an educational background either as a Systems Developer, IT Programmer or Software Engineer or similar, combined with a thorough knowledge of Web, Windows and SQL programming. · You have obtained high expertise in C#, VB.net, ASP.net, XML/XSLT and Web services as well as object-oriented programming and Web technologies such as AJAX, JavaScript, html, css, etc. In addition, you are an advanced designer of user interfaces. Experience in T-SQL and MS-SQL Server is also required. · As a person, you are result-oriented and quality-conscious, and you have a structured and systematic approach to your work. You possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are able to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously and to manage priorities and meet deadlines. Furthermore, you possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing. If you have acquired your skills in alternative ways, your application is just as well appreciated.
