About the department

Manufacturing Intelligence is a digital extension of our operational excellence in production. The department is responsible for finding solutions together with production to improve productivity and efficiency using various digital enablers. The department is a small core unit, that works intimately with many different units throughout Product Supply. Team members are data scientists and engineers, students and project managers. 

 

The position

In this position, you will be at the front line of development within advanced analytics across Novo Nordisk. You will have a direct impact of the way we work with analytics. Driving data projects across the company, and you will have a great impact on the way we work with analytics in Novo Nordisk. It will be your responsibility to drive digitalization of our finished product production. 

Based in Hillerød, you will be driving projects spanning all assembly and production lines across Novo Nordisk global sites; building the project strategy, scoping projects, and developing and implementing solutions. All of this you will do in collaboration with your project team of skilled data scientists and data engineers. To succeed in this role, you will have to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization; with Global IT, local site management and operational employees as well as local IT experts in project sites. 

The role is a two-year temporary assignment. Therefore, we are looking for a person who is driven enough to have an immense impact within this timeline. 

 

Qualifications

 The ideal person for this role will have: 

• A Master’s Degree ­. in e.g. business, economics, engineering or another relevant field
• Broad experience using agile project tools in various industries, preferably production or IT
• A proven track record as a project lead with a great reputation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven record of working with stakeholders on all levels
• Ability to communicate complex content in a top-down manner
• Knowledge in LEAN/Scrum frameworks
• Strong cross-cultural skills and preferably international experience from work or studies
• Proven interest, training or practical experience in statistical methods or advanced analytics
• A personal and professional journey that reflects high passion and high ambition

 

We do not expect you to be a programmer, but you will need to be data driven and able to navigate an IT environment as you will be leading and collaborating with a team of data scientists and data engineers. 

Most importantly, you have a strong personal drive and high standards, continuously pushing standards higher and challenging our ambition. You know when to be pragmatic, and you get your energy from executing and seeing results on daily basis.
