We work with a global perspective by defining strategies and portfolios to serve the domestic and commercial building markets and operating in close cooperation with a wide range of functions in the Grundfos matrix structure. You refer to Head of Application Development, René Bergqvist. ”In the team, we each work on what we are good at, developing our competencies each day. We want to be close to the customers and talk to them to understand their wishes. We spar with each other to test new ideas, and we try to be creative and think out of the box,” René explains. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As our new Application Manager, it is your job to scout and introduce new technologies that add value to our customers. Your main tasks are to extend the Grundfos product offering with emphasis on bringing new value to the customer by means of connectivity or system functionality. In collaboration with the Business Development Manager you conceptualise and search for new products within the existing market, bringing added value to the building owner, consulting engineer, contractor, installer and facility manager. As you are in close cooperation with Grundfos R&D and external partners, the key words for your work are networking, cooperation and facilitation. The position will take you travelling 40-50 days a year to visit technology partners and customers and to verify prototype value proposition in the application etc. “The challenge is to ensure that new products live up to Grundfos´ high demands within sustainability, quality and end customer product experience,” René says. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You are an Engineer or you have a similar technical background with experience from a related position. It is an advantage if you have international experience and are familiar with Building Management Systems (BMS) or similar. Your English is at a high level both verbally and in writing and German is an extra plus. “As a person you possess superb interpersonal and communication skills and you thrive in an outgoing role. You have a keen interest in the customers’ product experience and possess the drive to ensure a meaningful, practical and feasible product experience. Your endurance and persistency enable you to follow through on initiatives even when challenged and you have the overview for prioritisation and handling complex processes,” René finishes.
