We are looking for an application technician who will be working with Fruit & Confectionery applications in our test laboratory. We expect that you are a team player with strong collaborative skills. A good spirit and a good sense of humor are appreciated. Your key responsibilities are to: - perform under minimum supervision tests to provide samples and/or data to solve technical problems and to support development of new solutions for the Fruit Industry -set, adjust and operate technical equipment and/or testing instruments like RVA, Brookfield and Texture-analyzer rRecord and verify results -suggest improvements in test procedures -self train in new test methods -assist applications specialists to prepare trial set ups -work at the highest quality and safety level according to existing regulation -participate in customer visits at the site Qualifications In order to be successful you must: -Have a relevant educational background e.g. food technologist or lab. technician -Have good practical skills in the laboratory -Foster and enjoy working in teams -Be able to clearly communicate activities and technical results to peers and customers, verbally, by presentations or by written reports in English -Be flexible towards changing priorities -Demonstrate self-management and ability to work to deadlines, both short and long term -Enjoy and have good problem solving skills -Have computer skills (especially MS Excel and MS Word) For further information please contact Team Manager, Dorte Klitgaard: Dorte.Klitgaard (at) DuPont.com, telephone +45 8943 5368, mobile + 45 2948 4496 Deadline for your application is 27 april 2014 - See more at: http://careers.dupont.com/jobsearch/posting.php?id=LAB00001099#sthash.vV2SH9Cc.dpuf
