About the department Novo Nordisk has an ambitious pipeline of CAPEX projects, aiming to expand its global production capacity to meet future needs from our patients. In this context, the category team for filling and packing equipment is growing and we are looking for a talented candidate. You will be part of a high performing procurement team. We are a very experienced and international team of 20 engaged employees working on a high people-focused culture. Together, we serve our customers on all global production sites throughout Novo Nordisk. Every day, we execute significant purchases and ensure optimal sourcing scenarios in investment projects worldwide. Our purchases range from constructions and buildings over critical production equipment to engineering services. In 2015, we managed to spend DKK ~4.7bn. The position Among your core responsibilities, you will lead the execution of contracts for filling and packaging equipment, keeping track of the category spend while ensuring compliance to our procedures. You will also consider new tools, theory and methodology for optimising processes, sourcing and/or supplier relationships within the category. Parallel to this, you will steer the development of long-term category strategies that can impact investment decisions for Novo Nordisk while supporting the Category Managers in the preparation, execution and evaluation of tenders for projects globally. In your day-to-day, you will interact closely with key cross-functional Novo Nordisk stakeholders in order to ensure right approach for sourcing of filling and packaging equipment compared to actual and future needs. This job will offer the opportunity for continuous learning and further development of your knowledge from a mix of collaboration with highly experienced colleagues as well as increasing complexity in your tasks – all of this in a challenging and competitive environment. Qualifications You hold a M.Sc. or equivalent in business or engineering degree and a deep interest in expanding your knowledge within sourcing and supply chain disciplines as well as technical topics. You have a strong personal drive to achieve your results and are comfortable in managing multiple projects/tasks with a high degree of independence and quality focusing on results. You have strong analytical skills and a structured approach that allows you to tackle professional challenges. It is important that you can communicate clear and precise with people at all levels in the organisation and that you have good collaboration skills. Fluency in English is required and you must have super user skills to manage power point and excel. Engagement and a positive mind-set, combined with a willingness to make a difference will also be needed in order to be successful in this job.
