We are looking for a Communication Partner to tell the stories about our oil and gas production in the Danish North Sea. Based at Maersk Oil’s office in Esbjerg, you will be a key player in keeping our 1400 employees in the offices and offshore informed. You will find and tell the stories that inspire and influence people, and you will use your communication skills to support the business in achieving its strategic goals. Equally importantly, you must have a genuine interest in our company, and the oil and gas industry. We Offer This is a challenging position, but one that offers great professional opportunities. To do this job, you will need to develop a broad network of contacts at all levels of the organisation, both offshore and in our Copenhagen and Esbjerg offices, and you know how to reach a broad audience using different communication channels. Key Responsibilities Ensuring employees are fully informed about business strategy and performance by delivering a consistent flow of stories in a variety of channels. Supporting business leaders in strategic communications. Supporting the Head of Communications in the planning and execution of strategic, tactical and day-to-day communications. Developing and maintaining an internal media platform, including the re-launch of part of the intranet. Who we are looking for You hold a masters degree in communication from university or business school, or are a journalist by profession. You have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position in internal communications for a large international organisation. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are fluent in English, both spoken and in writing. You know how to build relationships and influence stakeholders. You are self-motivated and committed to producing high-quality work. You will report to the Danish Business Unit Head of Communication.
