Explore and communicate fashion trends, industry foresights as today’s trends related to the fashion world. Conduct consumer segmentation exploration and consumer immersion programs to enhance consumer understanding and bring “consumers to life” in the organization. Provide support to ECCO’s Head of Concept lab and its designers based on consumer & market insights. Support designers in designing according to the trends in popular colours, textures and fabrics. Research cultural, economic, world trade and celebrity style trends and assess trend reports to help predict trends for product collection of tomorrow. Maintain and expand relationships with contacts in the industry keep a particular track of what the competition is doing with insightful competitive market analysis Present and embed insights to the concept team and designers Grow and maintain relationships with vendors, research institutes and magazine editors. Initiate, support and deploy best practice research toolbox as part of the Consumer & Market Insight team. Job Profile: The Consumer Insight Manager act as Business Partner for Concept Lab and will use its analytical ability and creative thinking to bring the target consumers to life, and provide direction for future product development. The Consumer Insight Manager explore new and innovative trends and discover foresights and fashion trends for the next ECCO product concepts. He/she is a key member of the Consumer & Market Insight team within the Global Brand Management Department, working with consumer and trend insights assigned to specific product concepts for the ECCO Concept Lap team. Qualifications and Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Psychology, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Anthropology, Sociology, or Psychology preferred. MBA a plus. Preferably 5 years plus experience in Fashion industry working with trends/foresights, fashion design or fashion insights working with general business/marketing, strategic planner or trend agency. Progressive experience in consumer research/consumer insights research methodologies with both qualitative and quantitative techniques, ideally within a consumer goods company or agency. Strong interpersonally collaboration skills to effectively manage different stakeholder groups. Excellent networking and communication skills. Show a keen interest and knowledge of the fashion industry. PC knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Limited travel requirements.
