For the Electrical Solutions and Components team within Engineering in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a Converter Application Engineer for our converter team. The right candidate can expect a position with exciting development opportunities. As a Converter Application Engineer your main responsibilities will cover: Coordinating application/project design activities Coordinating and specifying improvement activities with our suppliers Influence and drive purchase specifications and documentation Coordinating trouble shooting and root cause analysis of converters in field operation Project management of converter warranty issues Coordinating software and control activities with supplier/projects Participating in QA Audits at suppliers facilities Optimize design in order to achieve higher quality/reliability What do I need to qualify for this job? · An education as B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar · Hands on skills for converter applications · Ability to take ownership of requirement specification and documentation in general · Knowledge of power conversion systems · Ability to review test documentation · Ability to operate cross-functional with a high number of interfaces · A structured, communicative and self-motivated approach · Willingness to travel (approx. 20 days/year) · Strong communication and English skills both orally and in writing. · Wind turbine knowledge is an advantage If you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
