Are you an impassioned and professional engineer with a great sense of quality assurance and solid experience within the field? And would you like to play an important part in improving performance in a talented, highly dynamic and fast-paced organisation? Then you could be our new Customer Quality Engineer in Danfoss Industrial Automation sensor department in Nordborg. Quality improvement and customer focus With reference to the Director Global Logistic & Quality, we are looking for a Customer Quality Engineer who will become responsible for quality assurance. You will safeguard the customers’ interests in the problem solving processes, and you will drive quality improvements in production to ensure a stable output, reduce waste, and control changes. Moreover, you are to ensure the final review and release of 8D reports to ensure customer satisfaction in regard to proper lead times and response quality. Other key responsibilities are: •Share with supply chain status of loaded complaints and monthly report of main complaint status •Perform coordinator role within our complaint handling system and ensure right functions are involved according to symptom/failure analysis result •Coordinate containment action for customer complaints •Manage and inform organisation about external ppm level and ensure actions •Manage data base to measure the reoccurrence of the failure modes •Work closely with field engineers in order to understand the customer usage of products •Coordinate Stop the line process and support Stop for Delivery Process Your overall task will be to support local inspection centres to ensure a valid and fast response to customers and at the same time to support coordination and gathering for customer PPAPs. Last but not least you will be responsible for part approval of new parts (S-PPAPs) and waivers. Your success depends on your ability to continuously improve performance in order to reach the set KPIs, e.g. zero failures towards our customers. Robust and experienced quality engineer As a minimum, you hold a bachelor’s degree within engineering, and you have several years’ technical experience with quality the standard TS 16949, production, engineering or product management. In addition, you are experienced in 8D methodology and production processes and, preferably, customer service and also possibly you are TS 16949 auditor. As a person, you are robust and communicative, and you know how to stick to your decisions when facing challenges. You have a qualitative approach to solving core problems and to customer service, and it comes naturally to you to be result and target-oriented. You are independent, and you are able to maintain a general view and address many different tasks at a time without losing focus. Moreover, you are good at facilitating teamwork. You have good interpersonal skills and are capable of communicating at all levels, and you thrive in an environment where you work with both customers and colleagues. You appear open-minded, accommodating and inspire confidence. You communicate fluently in Danish and English, both in writing and in speech.
