LM Wind Power seeks a demand manager to be responsible for the demand part of the monthly sales and operation planning process. Responsible for the S&OP process Our current demand manager has accepted new challenges in our organisation, and we are now looking for a replacement. LM has a leading position in the wind industry delivering blades from more than 12 plants in 4 continents to a wide range of the world’s leading wind turbine manufacturers. In spite of a very positive business outlook, the wind industry is volatile and LM has over the last many years refined a very robust sales and operation planning process into carefully balancing demand and supply by exercising a very rigorous monthly planning cycle. In the role as demand manager, you will be responsible for the demand part of the monthly sales and operation planning process. Your tasks will be to Manage LM’s monthly blade demand process by closely liaison with account managers Manage ad hoc demand related inquiries from account managers as well as other internal stakeholders Maintain data and presentations in Excel, Power Point and Cognos demand planning tool Your qualifications Our preferred candidate Holds a bachelor or master degree, technically or commercially Is experienced in the wind industry or at least in a project or larger investment goods B2B oriented industry Has specific demand management and/or S&OP experience Possesses outstanding excel and solid power point skills Is a real team player with a high integrity and excellent cooperation skills The position offers a unique possibility to work at a world leading component supplier in the wind industry.
