About the department The job is located in Novo Nordisk Research & Development area in department Diabetes Purification Development (Bagsværd). In the department you will have 33 highly skilled and motivated colleagues organized in two teams, who constantly challenge themselves to increase productivity and optimize work processes. Our main responsibility is to develop the purification processes for manufacturing new active pharmaceutical proteins for future diabetes drugs. We do so in close collaboration with the research unit as well as the pilot facilities manufacturing the proteins used for clinical trials. The job We are looking for an experienced project manager (API Coordinator) with drug development experience to coordinate Diabetes API portfolio projects. As an API Coordinator you will be responsible for aligning the project organisation needs with those of the Line of Business. You will be part of the CMC core project team along with the other technical coordinators, e.g. Drug Product and analysis. Furthermore,you will collaborate closely with pilot plants who produce the API. In this role, you will define specific department activities linked to the overall project key deliverables. Close collaboration with the line management of the departments is vital in order to ensure the most optimal planning and execution of project targets. Your responsibilities will also include: Breakdown of project key deliverables to department activities in a project planning system andplanning of the timing of development activities together with both the department´s team leaders and the project group. You are also expected tocommunicate risk based development and pilot manufacture scenarios to the CMC core project group as well as preparing and coordinating regulatory documentation according to international guidelines. Qualifications You have3-5 years of experience in managing CMC activities covering early to late phase clinical development. Detailed knowledge of the pharmaceutical value chain is a must as well as excellent knowledge of the CMC documentation flow. Previous project management experience and/or scientific experience with pharmaceutical development from the industry – preferably from a CMC point of view are a great advantage.. An MSc or PhD education level in a relevant scientific field is compulsory in order to become a successful applicant for the position. Furthermore, an innovative mind-set being able to convert theory to practical solutions is expected, just as excellent communication skills are a prerequisite. On top of that, you have a positive attitude and the ability to be both a team player and independently drive complicated development projects forward.
