In Haemophilia Global Development, we are responsible for managing worldwide clinical development of novel compounds for the treatment of haemophilia from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. About the department The mission of Haemophilia Network and Training is to improve the quality and efficiency of haemophilia clinical trials and establish Novo Nordisk as the preferred partner for haemophilia clinical research. A key responsibility for the department is the Global Haemophilia Network (GHN) Investigator Portal, an IT platform facilitating electronic document handling. The department also conducts clinical trial training of study nurses and investigators all over the world to improve overall trial conduct understanding as well as facilitate networking with the purpose of exchanging knowledge between Novo Nordisk and site staff. Haemophilia Network and Training is also responsible for the coordination of Investigator and Monitor meetings as well as the maintenance of the haemophilia intraweb. The department currently has 9 highly engaged employees who have many external activities, entailing frequent travelling and interactions with HCPs. The Job As Director of the department you will lead a department of highly qualified employees and manage relationships with internal and external key collaborators, including Novo Nordisk affiliates. It is essential that you are a natural leader with the ability to delegate as well as motivate others to deliver high quality results within strict deadlines. You will be responsible for the continuous innovation of the Global Haemophilia Network (GHN) of investigators and study nurses working with Novo Nordisk on clinical trials. You will oversee training of investigators and study nurses in aspect of clinical trial conduct, as well as drive development of tools to support patient recruitment and the GHN Investigator Portal. You will also ensure successful planning and logistical execution of all event and meeting activities within Haemophilia GD, such as investigator meetings and expert/advisory board meetings. You will report to the Vice President of Clinical Operations, Haemophilia and become a member of the area’s management team and collaborate closely with the other managers in the area. You will take an active part in developing the area as well as a lead role in various improvement projects, including process optimisation and training. Qualifications You are an experienced manager able to motivate, develop and empower highly educated and independent people. You have a profound insight into clinical development, and you have several years of experience from line or project management positions. You hold an academic degree, at master level, within natural sciences or healthcare. Experience with IT platforms and communication is considered an advantage. In addition you have good stakeholder management capabilities and solid problem-solving capabilities. You are a clear communicator and you can successfully plan for both long- and short-term tasks, while simultaneously managing strict project deadlines and your own workload.
