We just happen to have a great workplace. Do you want to be a part of this success? You will join the Document Control Department in our Danish Business Unit placed in Esbjerg. We are responsible for the technical documentation of all Maersk Oil and Gas offshore installations in the North Sea, Danish Sector. In the team, we are 4 document controllers, who update the technical documentation which in total comprises 280,000 technical drawings; drawing-, line- and cable databases, vendor data manuals, and SAP master data. Within the first year you will be introduced to the oil industry and the Maersk Oil and Gas Safety Programme, in particular through courses. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will be to: • Update cause & effect diagrams in Excel, based on offshore as-built documentation packages • Update SAP master data • Provide assistance to engineers in the Production and Engineering departments The team receives documentation that is reviewed and checked before we update it. You and the team update the SAP master data and preventive maintenance checks, whereas CAD drawings are updated by subcontractors. Who we are looking for Preferably, you have general experience with documentation, handling and updating from a production or engineering company. As a person, you are quality-conscious, responsible and committed, and you are able to deliver a high level of accuracy and quality. Furthermore, being robust and service-minded you thrive handling many inquiries from different stakeholders and are able to adapt to changes. Your qualifications: • Background as Technical Assistant, Machine Technician or equivalent • Experience in working with Microsoft Office applications and with databases, including updating engineering databases • Technical interest/expertise and thoroughness • Proficiency in written and verbal English Last application date: 07 February 2016.
