For our EHS Technology Department we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Platform Risk Manager to secure EHS compliance in our new wind turbine development projects and to support our Zero Harm culture. The Platform EHS Risk Manager is a vital part of ensuring that EHS compliance is considered and built in to our turbine designs. As a Platform EHS Risk Manager, your role will be to drive EHS awareness and EHS planning in the turbine development projects, and to be EHS support, for the line organization. You will work closely together with the Project Team and the design organization, in order to maintain Siemens high standards for quality and safety and to continuously improve the methods and processes within EHS management of our development projects. As Platform EHS Risk Manager, you will interact across countrys and continents as products developed in one region, may be installed and operated in the another region. Experience in working in an international organization is an advantage for this position, as well as the ability to network with people from different locations, cultures and management levels, is an important part of your qualifications for the role. What are my responsibilities? · Be the Project Team’s “point of contact” for EHS support · Proactively plan EHS activities according to the design development process (e.g. design risk assessments, technical file documentation, and review reports etc) together with the Project design team · Ensure EHS risks derived from the turbine design is managed and mitigated to an acceptable level · Ensure timely and consistent EHS reporting in the design development project · Manage EHS improvement projects (across design platforms and modules) · Asses and advice the Technology Department in regards to safe and compliant design What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a technical background e.g. as an Engineer with experience in project management · You have solid knowledge of codes and standards (e.g. MD, PED, LVD and EMC) and have work experience with CE marking and/or similar type approvals. · You are can handle complex EHS cases and projects and keep overview of large amounts of information · Good corporation skills and a structured, self-motivating work style · You possess strong communication skills, and have excellent English skills (both orally and in writing) In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
