We are looking for an Electrical Engineer – Simulations who will be responsible for development of a model library for electrical simulation studies for our Business Area Wind, Engineering and Construction. You will be a part of the Electrical department with colleagues located in various locations across Europe with the location for this position being based in Kolding. The department is the technical know-how centre within Business Area Wind, setting the standards and guidelines, and providing ad-hoc expert support to our projects, both through the development and implementation face as well as the generation department. Description of the position as Electrical Engineer - Simulations • Modelling and design of wind power plants for steady state, dynamics, and harmonics analysis • Simulation studies (wind turbine performance, wind farm and transmission system electrical design, grid code compliance) • Technical support to development, procurement and operation team • Technical evaluation of the electrical equipments within wind farms • Review and approve electrical studies from suppliers Qualifications as Electrical Engineer - Simulations •B.Sc or M.Sc in Electrical engineering •Experience in PSS/E, Power Factory DigSilent, and/or PSCAD •Experience within wind turbines and wind farms •Good English language skills and a plus if you also have good German an Danish language skills Personal skills You have a high degree of self motivation and you often bring new ideas and approaches in work-related issues that can be transformed into action and give results. You possess good interpersonal skills works well with other people, and you have an innovative mindset. You are result-oriented and you organize and prioritize your work effectively meeting required deadlines.
