Join the Technology department in Bjerringbro, consisting of approximately 45 colleagues. We spot, develop and mature new production technology solutions, making Grundfos a world class competitor within its field. Furthermore, we represent Operations in the organisation’s frontloading projects where we design the best logistic and production solutions for future Grundfos products. You report to Director Torben Buch Rasmussen. “In the department, we are relentlessly ambitious and set the bar high when we come up with new ideas. We have an innovative approach to the tasks at hand, and now we are ready to look at how we can find new ways of designing supply chains, which can deliver radical improvements, making us more competitive in terms of delivery and flow efficiency,” Torben says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? The job as Project Manager within supply chain development is a newly established position in Grundfos. Your task is to assemble a small team of skilled colleagues and work specifically with development of our supply chain based on the knowledge we have from our technology development. Thus, the team analyses existing product supply chains and decides which areas to develop further. Scenarios are defined, tested and validated in certain pilot. During the entire process, you run the projects and have the responsibility of defining focus areas and set the direction for Grundfos. You also make sure obtained knowledge is shared throughout the organisation, and you challenge the way Grundfos handles supply chain today. “You are part of defining a new area for Technology and a new focus. Subsequently, you need to prove that it has created value. It can be a challenge to prove the effect while convincing colleagues in the organisation that the change will make a difference. It is thereforecrucial that you are able to explain why we should move in a certain direction, you can be part of setting the future direction for our supply chain,” Torben explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have a degree in Engineering or Business within supply chain management and 5+ years of experience with logistics and supply chain. If you hold a PhD, it is a plus. Moreover, you are able to lead a project team towards an ambitious goal and can conduct analyses as well as come up with suggestions for solutions. You speak and write English fluently and are able to travel approximately 20 days per year. “As a person, you possess a great drive and are able to hold your ground if people are opposed to the changes you suggest. You can generate positive energy around your project and convince the organisation that this is the way forward. And finally, you have excellent communication skills, enabling you to create internal and external partnerships at several levels,” Torben finishes.
