COO, Global Sourcing, Business Development and Operations, AE & Analytics Responsibilities: This role reports through the global sourcing organization which has responsibility for all strategic purchasing of this multi-billion Euro business. Working closely with the global category teams, Vice Presidents of Sourcing as well as with Sourcing stakeholders (Supply Chain Planning, Technology & Service Solution, Business Performance Management…), the Consultant is leading the identification, prioritization and implementation of cost out and process improvement opportunities. With a total cost mindset you will be a change agent focusing on building capabilities within the organization through the development of category teams and the establishment of professional sourcing processes. More specifically, the Consultant will: Lead key cross-functional process improvement and strategic projects on behalf of Sourcing (e.g., Sales & Operations planning project, Supplier forecasting, Capacity management, Should cost leadership…) Improve sourcing operational efficiency through processes optimization (e.g., RfX, Market Intelligence…) and development of key analytics tools (e.g., Total Cost of Ownership model, Raw Materials model…) Support and facilitate opportunity assessment and prioritization with a total cost approach Manage project plans and follow up on business performance, conducting regular reviews with relevant stakeholders Be a change agent and secure capability building within the global category teams through sparring, coaching, engaging with key stakeholders and the implementation of professional sourcing processes Qualifications: We are looking for an ambitious and experienced procurement/sourcing profile with a proven track record within an international organization. You have worked within an industrial company or a consulting firm dealing with complex and diversified procurement/sourcing assignments for at least 3 to 5 years. Furthermore, we are looking for a profile with a: Bachelor/MSc.
