Would you like to take your competencies to the next level within Business Intelligence by working with a wide range of BI design and development tasks for the entire DONG C&M Finance? If so, DONG Energy, Customers & Markets (C&M) is looking for a dynamic and technically competent candidate with an interest in Business Intelligence (BI) and financial analysis for our Business Intelligence (BI) department in C&M Finance. The department is responsible for building and developing data structures, data models and reporting solutions that support the C&M business model. You will be part of a team of 5-6 very competent and dedicated colleagues. The BI team coordinates and handles a row of assignments in an interesting mix between Sales, Distribution, Markets and Group IT. The department is part of Customers & Markets, which has 1,600 employees and is one of five business units in DONG Energy. We handle purchase, trade and distribution of energy. All production from our wind turbines and oil and gas fields is sold to the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe. In addition, we sell and distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers. You will work in our office in Virum. Areas of responsibility The BI team handles a wide spectre of assignments, e.g. designing and developing BI strategies and solutions to support the management needs of the business as well as support tasks across the entire C&M Finance. This includes developing data structures, management hierarchies and reports in SAP BI along with developing and maintaining planning solutions. You will have an exciting work day where you will get to work with: . designing and maintaining BI reports in SAP BI & Business Objects (BO) as well as structuring the BI portal . designing, developing and coordinating BI solutions in close cooperation with Business Partner teams for Distribution, Sales, Markets and C&M Reporting . coordinating development and operation of budgeting tools in SAP Integrated Planner (IP)/BPC in close collaboration with the business partner teams of the department, business users and company IT functions . acting as sparring partner and support in connection to C&M’s financial reporting processes . supporting Finance as well as business users in connection to our BI solutions . participating in financial reporting projects within your competencies and interests . participating in a large change programme in C&M which covers the migration from two financial platforms to the common DONG platform as well as building new BI solutions Your profile You hold a degree, preferably within Economics, e.g. cand.merc. or cand.polit. or another relevant technical degree. Further, you have experience within business processes in relation to controlling and budgeting, and you are analytically strong with a focus on overall solutions. We prefer if you have experience with financial data, and it is natural for you to structure data as well as translate business needs and operating models into data models. It is also an advantage if you have experience with pivot tables (e.g. Excel), databases and working with financial reporting, either from a job as a consultant or in a large company. Experience in Financial Business Intelligence in Data Warehouse, preferably SAP BI, SAP IP and/or BPC would be considered a plus. In this position, you will collaborate with many internal partners on several levels and with different backgrounds. Thus, it is important that you are outgoing, independent and able to take responsibility.
