Finance/Group Treasury The departments within Group Treasury are responsible for all treasury and banking services within the Vestas Group. Group Treasury is placed in Vestas’ office in Copenhagen, Denmark, and consists of 20 dedicated treasury professionals. As part of Group Treasury You will join the team responsible for assessment and hedging of all financial risks within the Vestas Group covering FX, interest rates, commodities as well as cash management on a daily basis, and has a constant focus on the development in the financial markets, collecting, analysing, managing and reporting exposures and cash positions to secure the best possible financial risk and cash management. We work in multi-disciplinary teams across the organisation together with our colleagues from Business Units and Group Functions. Responsibilities: Manage and hedge foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity exposure Collect and analyse the exposures arising from business activities within all financial market risk areas Manage the liquidity position Liaise with internal and external counterparties Develop the cash and risk management framework (including processes, systems & policies) for different geographical and financial markets Close cooperation with colleagues in relation to optimize cash flow, hedging, accounting and legal requirement Qualifications: Experience with cash management and foreign exchange hedging from a corporate perspective, dealing with the different challenges of both the major currencies as well as emerging markets or; A banking background with a professional understanding of cash and financial risk management and the desire to continue your career as a corporate treasurer. The ability to analyse complex processes and at the same time communicate in a clear and understandable way to both internal and external stake holders Preferably a master degree with a relevant financial focus Minimum 7 years of experience within financial markets and a good understanding of cash and risk management processes gained through a financial institution and/or a corporate entity Competencies: Strong English skills and cultural empathy whilst being part of an international organisation Superior Microsoft Office skills and preferably knowledge of SAP Treasury, Bloomberg, SAS and SAS Enterprise Guide Good corporation and communications skills Good analytical and systematical skills A high energy level and a positive, proactive attitude Ambitious and a flexible approach to tasks and working hours What we offer: In this position you will be able to work in all areas of cash and financial risk management covering all aspects from investment decisions to complicated financial risk management.
