Description We are seeking a flexible scientist with an open mind to assist us with development of new food structuring enablers. The position is temporary in the period 01 September 2014 to 30 June 2015 and covers a maternity leave in Product Discovery within Enablers Innovation. The position is based in Brabrand, Denmark. With the recent reorganization of Enablers Innovation we are geared for progress and success. Our project pipeline is expanding with new exciting development projects addressing the need for enablers with targeted food structuring properties. We are a busy group and need your support to deliver the best solutions within the given deadlines. You will assist our scientists and/or manage your own tasks and work closely with our team of lab technicians. The work may involve emulsifiers, stabilizers and/or Systems, and your task will be to describe and verify their functional properties in food model systems. The main tasks in the position include: -Hands-on exploration of functional properties in food model systems -Identification and verification of prototype candidates within emulsifiers, stabilizers and Systems -Establishment of relevant food model systems if needed -Technical reporting Qualifications You have qualifications at M.Sc. level in chemistry or food technology. Due to, that it is a temporary position we will adjust the complexity of tasks to your capabilities, so this could also be an opportunity for newly educated candidates.
