For our Technology Department in Brande, Denmark we are looking for bright Lead Engineers who can be a further enrichment of our Hub Analysis team. Our department is responsible for the structural and mechanical design of the Hub wherein the hub is divided into sub-modules. Your sub module is the loadbearing components for the either Offshore or Onshore Hub platforms, which contains: · Casted and machined Hub · Pitch bearing · Structural bolted Joints · Interface responsible for blade to hub and Hub to Generator Your project team will consist of CAD, FEA and mechanical specialist, and you will in the project refer to the Module PM of the Hub. What are my responsibilities? · Responsible for development of the loadbearing components from concept to serial production following Siemens PDP process · Develop and further improve the PDP process and further break down your deliverables · Creating concepts · Time planning · Sparring with CAD, FEA and Mech specialists · Overview of BoM structure and 3D assemblies · Close cooperation with prototype workshop, production, procurement, quality and your other Technology interfaces within the Hub module and outside of the Hub module such as Blades and Generator. · Align design stages with suppliers together with procurement and your mechanical specialist What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a bachelor or a master in structural, mechanical or marine engineering and have experience in product development and project management · You have experience as a structural engineer where FEA at a high level was needed · You possess good manufacturing understanding together with a strong design and analytical understanding were you are able to combine that with common sense · You can challenge the designers and structural engineers on a high analytical level. · You are outgoing and proactive, and you possess the ability to work both independently and in teams · You are structured and innovative and your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable · You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in both written and spoken English In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
