Then, Alfa Laval Copenhagen A/S has an exciting opportunity for you. - For Alfa Laval´s Core Automation Team For its Core Automation Team, Alfa Laval is looking for a structured and experienced manager, who will drive central automation and cooperation processes within Alfa Laval to a new qualitative level. It is a key task for a new manager to drive our strategy towards competitiveness of our core products by keeping balance among Demand, Development, and Governance of automation solutions. In Core Automation Team (CAT), we are represented by about 50 employees located in different sites in Denmark, India, The Netherlands, and Sweden. In CAT, we are responsible for delivering high quality standard automation for Alfa Laval´s core products to our customers worldwide. With this position, you will be a key person heading teams of dedicated colleagues, who work with automation Demand & Connectivity, Development, and Governance & Standards. Working as a General Manager for CAT, you will be in a strategic position interfacing major stakeholders internally within Alfa Laval Group as well as externally. Key responsibilities •Increase competitiveness of Alfa Laval´s core products by integration of standard automation solutions •Drive execution of the core automation strategy •Report periodically to the Alfa Laval´s Core Automation Board •Lead the core automation management team and ensure adequate competence development within CAT organization. Personal profile & qualifications •Minimum 10 years automation experience in related industry •Knowledge of PLC and HMI technology is expected •Proven ability of matrix management, joining divergent interests and securing alignment within teams •Quality awareness and highly structured approach to work •Ability to drive and manage change activities across functional borders in a global organization •Strong customer focus and good networking skills •Internationally oriented with good cross-cultural awareness.
