For our Service Engineering department we are looking for a group lead for a team of highly experienced and competent mechanical engineers, working on conducting root cause analyses and developing solutions to our wind turbine issues and defects. The Service organization experiences a massive growth these years, and you will therefore get a huge impact on the future scope of our service engineering organization. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the transition phase from hands-on to more structured engineering, besides ensuring one global mindset when it comes to analyzing and solving defects on our wind turbines. What are my responsibilities? Support global alignment by directly and indirectly managing the team members in Brande and abroad. Ensure the right combination of competences in the team(s) to support the mechanical engineering work. Support, build and document new and improved processes (e.g. principles for conducting root cause analysis). Daily management of the team in Brande. I.e. prioritization of tasks and projects for the team members, continuous follow-up, further competence development etc. Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders on technical inquiries related to the mechanical area. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a technical background and at least five years of experience with direct and indirect management of technical personnel, preferably in a global context. Your background has provided you with a good commercial understanding and experience with change management You hold good people management skills, are empathic and you can navigate easily in a multinational environment with diverse stakeholders. You have a strategic mindset and work structured and persistently towards achieving your goals. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
