Vestas Technology & Service Solutions/Platform Management/Project Management Vestas Technology & Service Solutions (TSS) is where new product ideas and technologies are matured, developed, tested and improved. We are shaping the future of modern energy. As Senior Project manager you will be part of the Project Management organisation, which consists of 3 sub department including Project Managers and Senior Project Managers located in Denmark, UK, India and US. The total number of people within the area is 40. The Project Management organization is responsible for providing Program and Project Management resources for execution of TSS product platform, technology, plant and service solution projects within scope, time and budget. Furthermore the Project Management organization drive and own Project Management excellence including competences development in Project Management (all related processes, tools and systems) to develop a professional Program and Project Management culture with focus on the entire value chain. Responsibilities: As Senior Project Manager you will report to the Vice President of PMO. Your main responsibilities and tasks will be: Execute development projects from design until serial production involving stakeholders within Vestas, such as TSS, manufacturing, global sourcing and sales units, as well as stakeholders outside Vestas. Ensure targets are met with regards to budget, timing and specification. Usage of a risk based approach when dealing with deviations and ensures early mitigation ensuring minimum impact. Continuously drive optimization of the project in order to improve performance. Motivate and lead project teams consisting of cross cultural members. Ensure smooth coordination across TSS offices around the world and convey better practices thus helping to develop projects globally. Contribute to developing and securing a world class development environment for Vestas TSS. Qualifications: To lead Vestas’ compelling projects, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager that holds the following qualifications, work experience and personality: You preferably hold a relevant scientific degree – i.e. Engineering or Science. You have strong and proven experience in project management of complex / cross-functional international projects. You understand and are cable of working with stage gate model structure and internationals project management principles as Prince2. You have proven experience from R&D projects with a high degree of integration. You have a proven track record of demonstrating ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. You must be responsive and willing to take ownership of issues and drive solutions. You preferably hold an IPMA-B certification, Prince2 or similar. You master communication in English both orally and in writing. You possess very strong cross functional leadership skills that secure the build-up of commitment and trustworthy relationships with internal and external partners in a global environment. You have strong business acumen as well as customer focused influencing skills. You possess a high degree of flexibility and thrive on changes and working in a dynamic environment. You have a proactive and extrovert personality and can lead and influence your surroundings with your good communication skills and high impact.
